No,&#8221; Zelenskyy recently&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/newshour\/show\/exclusive-zelenskyy-says-without-u-s-aid-well-have-no-chance-of-winning\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told PBS<\/a>&nbsp;of Ukraine&#8217;s prospects should it not get the funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ukraine&#8217;s foreign minister, Dmytro Kuleba, was just as blunt in a recent interview.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Give us the damn Patriots,&#8221; he&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.eu\/article\/give-us-the-damn-patriots-ukraine-needs-air-defenses-now-minister-says\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told Politico<\/a>&nbsp;in March, referring to the US-made air defense systems used to defend Russian missiles, which are pummelling Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the front line in east and south Ukraine, reports say the situation is increasingly desperate, with Russia&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2024-01-31\/ukraine-tells-allies-troops-are-outgunned-three-to-one-by-russia\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">outfiring Ukraine at a rate of three to one<\/a>.
