The National Turkey Federation&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/03\/06\/us\/politics\/bird-flu-vaccine-chickens.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">says<\/a>&nbsp;unilateral vaccination \u201cwould have a severe impact on exports\u201d but that it has urged \u2014 and continues to urge \u2014 the federal government to \u201cmove as rapidly as possible to try to develop new agreements\u201d with trading partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"m_2903797947706709598gmail-nE4k7T\">\u201cMeat is a highly politically sensitive issue for many countries, and the entire livestock industry is protected in many countries for various reasons,\u201d said Aratchilage.
