And he was facing a judge with a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/10\/26\/technology\/musk-twitter-delaware-judge-mccormick.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">no-nonsense reputation<\/a>&nbsp;who might rule against him in the end.
