Once Again, a Federal Judge Orders ICE To Stop Unlawful Warrantless Arrests

“Another judge has ordered the Department of Homeland Security to follow federal law, even as the Trump administration argues it has broad authority to conduct warrantless immigration arrests.”

The administration’s mass deportation efforts are repeatedly unlawful.

Lawmakers in Florida and Ohio Consider Abolishing Property Taxes

“When The Columbus Dispatch interviewed voters headed to the polls in November 2025, almost all said they liked the idea of property tax abolition but didn’t want to see the quality of local services degrade.

None of Florida’s proposed property tax reforms include any plan to offset the lost revenue. The two measures that would eliminate homestead property taxes also include clauses forbidding local governments from cutting law enforcement funding.

The Ohio nonprofit Citizens for Property Tax Reform notably does not call for offsetting spending cuts. Instead, it suggests increases to sales taxes and local school district income taxes.

Making up for the revenue lost from property tax cuts would be a tall order.

Property taxes pay for nearly 30 percent of local government services in both Ohio and Florida. States trying to replace every dollar of property tax revenue with sales or income tax revenue would ultimately reduce overall economic efficiency as well.

Milton Friedman called the property tax (and particularly the tax on the value of unimproved land) the “least bad tax” because it discouraged less economic activity than sales and income taxes.

Property taxes are also less distortionary. People and firms can move to places where they are less heavily taxed to avoid local sales and income taxes. Real estate, in contrast, generally has to stay put.”

Claiming Bad Bunny Isn’t Successful Is as Foolish As Claiming He Isn’t American

“Bad Bunny. He’s one of the biggest stars in the music industry! And he is wildly successful because people freely choose to spend their money streaming his music and going to his shows.

It makes as much sense to criticize Bad Bunny for being unsuccessful as it does to attack him for being un-American. Both are factually untrue and transparently ridiculous.

That doesn’t mean you have to like Bad Bunny’s music. I can barely name three of his songs. (Approaching 40 is rough.) You don’t have to applaud his halftime performance—although, c’mon, it was pretty cool and quite impressive on a production and technical level, and it told a story that a non-Spanish speaker could follow.

And you don’t have to like that he sings in Spanish, which seems to be the real root of most of the complaints about him headlining the Super Bowl. That’s a matter of personal taste.

But the right-wing outrage machine takes gripes based on personal taste and extrapolates them into questions of merit. And some, like Loomer, then try to add a racial element.

A political movement that is determined to create unnecessary grievances targeting America’s most successful homegrown artists is not upholding meritocracy or other American values. It is demanding conformity and its own version of political correctness. Most of us have had enough of that, and we don’t much care whether it is coming from the right or the left.”

In 2024, Trump Rejected Numbers Showing a Homicide Drop As a ‘Lie.’ Now He Is Bragging About Them.

“Many factors outside the control of any given president affect crime rates, and the recent drop continues a trend that began before Trump took office.

Another historical point further undermines Trump’s credibility on this subject. During the 2024 presidential race, he was keen to deny the numbers he is now citing with pride.”

British graduate, 23, was shot dead by her father in his Texas home after Trump row, inquest hears

“A British graduate who was passionately anti-guns was shot dead by her alcoholic father at his Texas home just hours after they had an argument about Donald Trump, an inquest was told today.”

If the father had not owned a gun, Lucy Harrison would likely be alive today.

ICE Lawyer Ruins Her Life

ICE has been capturing people here legally and detaining them far away from where they were picked up. When courts find out about this and order ICE to release individuals, ICE sometimes doesn’t follow the orders. ICE Lawyers have been overwhelmed defending ICE’s lawlessness. One of ICE’s own lawyers admitted that when she tells them they have to release people held illegally, they don’t follow through because they don’t respect the courts.

SHOCK: Ben Shapiro FINALLY ADMITS IT about Trump

Ben Shapiro says that Trump is obviously corrupt, but supports him anyways. He admits that Conservatives are willfully blind and hypocritical on the issue because if Biden did this they would be screaming bloody murder. He defends Trump by stating false things about what Trump has done and by stating false things about the Democrats. Shapiro has been critical of Trump compared to other Trump voters, but he’s still amazingly blind about the truth of what Trump has done and what Democrats have done.

Shapiro acknowledges that Trump was immoral and undemocratic in claiming Biden stole the election and for Trump’s role in the Capitol riot, but because the guard rails held, he’s willing to give Trump another chance. Jessiah makes the analogy that if Shapiro’s kids were in a car with a drunk driver, and that driver crashed but no one was hurt because guard rails stopped the car from going over the side, Shapiro would give the keys of a new car to that driver and allow his kids to ride with him. Of course, Shapiro wouldn’t do that, but he’s willing to do it with US democracy.

Congressman reveals what he saw in the unredacted Epstein files

The Epstein files Trump released are way over-redacted. Some Congressmen had temporary and limited access to less redacted versions, and they claim they saw an international sex trafficking ring with names of men who appear to have committed crimes.
